I’ve been running Linux for the last month or so on my netbook. I love using it, it’s simple, fast and easy for the most part. It loads up in a minute or two, unlike windows which loads up in a minute or two also, but then spends the next three or four loading shit loads of programs and apps that I most likely won’t use.
I have very little trouble with linux, Ubuntu to be precise. That was until recently and it was my fault. I uninstalled it in error and tried to reinstall it and it worked, for a few days atleast. Now I can’t even get it to install!!
I think that maybe the iso image that I am using for Ubuntu maybe damged of corrupt somehow. I am trying to install it on a PC which I am working on the moment for someone, but it won’t install on that either. I download the ISO for opensuse yesterday and plan to install that on both the netbook and the PC and see how it goes.
Dispite the problems I might be having with PCs and my netbook, I love trying to problem shoot them and see if I can get them all going again. I am currently setting up a new wireless network around my apartment so that I can link all my PCs, laptops, notebooks, DAB radio and TV together, regardless of where they are in the apartment. I shall write a post about the again another time.
